Daniel Axelrod, at twenty-six, is already an experienced actor and author of three books of poems, has designed a performance and master class that will inspire your students to a greater understanding of the art of poetry and creative writing. As early as age nine, he was already teaching workshops in creative writing at libraries and schools. Now master of a commanding style, he will visit as poet-in-the-school to perform and teach workshops for audiences of all ages. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and History with honors from SUNY Cortland College and his Masters degree from Syracuse University's prestigious Newhouse Journalism School. Presently a lead reporter for the daily in Scranton, PA. Daniel is the recipient of both New York and New England Journalist Society awards. Jessica Robinson is an author and illustrator and President of her own company, Jesse's Creations. She serves as artistic director for WU. Winner of numerous fine arts and illustration awards, she offers her services to authors for book covers and artwork. A graduate Magna Cum Laude from Fashion Institute of Technology, her work has been featured with such companies as LA Gear, OP Ocean Pacific, Knight Musk, MK Music Productions, AIG American Institute of Guitar, Touch of Lace Inc., as well as Decorative Accessories magazine. In addition to her skills as an illustrator, Jessica works with mixed media, airbrush, screen printing, lithography, print making, photography, and has developed a specialty in computer graphics (click this link for a sample). 

Dr. Robert Schenck holds his Ph.D. in clinical psychology and is a Yoga Master, combining Eastern and Western methodologies in his private practice. As a member of the WU Board of Directors of Writers Unlimited, he advises and teaches in the Creative Health Institute CHI as well as serving as Secretary for the Corporation.  

Emily E. Axelrod, novelist and poet, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from SUNY at Purchase as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Modern Literature from City College of New York. She teaches writing and literature at  Hofstra University as well as Queensborogh Community College. She has performed and publisher her poetry widely, as well as working for the Poetry Society of America. She is available for private tutoring with a specialty in overcoming writers' block.

Dr. Adam Fisher, author and poet, holds a Bachelor of Arts with high honors in Philosophy and Religion and attended Hebrew Union College--Jewish Institute of Religion, where he received Rabbinical Ordination. He was granted a Doctor of Hebrew Letters Degree.  His poetry and stories have been widely published as well as his Reformed Jewish liturgical works. He is author of the official liturgies for the Holocaust and Jewish Arbor Day. Dr. Fisher serves on the Board of Directors as advisor and an editor of Writers Ink Press.
