There is an active world of literature beyond books and the internet. You may well be surprised at how much you do enjoy a poetry event!

Attendance at a live theatre event will fulfill your requirement.

Attendance at a talk by an author will fulfill your requirement.

CONCERNING OUTSIDE EVENTS:

Contact Barbara at REIHERBPOET@aol.com and say you are in my class. Ask to receive notices of poetry and literary events.

The list of events is long and the events make a good outing. As often, if you are serious about writing and more so, publishing, going to literary events is how it’s done! Email me and I'll set you on some activities I've heard about. BUT OKAY, OKAY… I know…

Your  is a dictator and you can’t find the time.

Or, your...

just moved to Minnesota and you are stuck at home .

Or, you are and live in a cave.

SO???  You should still should find a suitable literary activity. It is part of the course requirements! It is not a lie if you tell the boss, friends, family that it is actually required and then you'll have an excuse to get out for an evening.
